JCG Expeditions chooses to climb via the Lomosho and Machame routes on 7 day trekking itineraries. These incredibly beautiful scenic routes offer the best altitude ascent profiles and are the most beautiful on the mountain! So far its work well – we have 100% success rate over all our expeditions on Kilimanjaro!
A bit about the mountain and the climb….
Mt Kilimanjaro is a unique mountain in the heart of Tanzania, Africa. Erupting out of the beautiful African planes Kilimanjaro reaching a height of 5895m – the highest point in Africa, and the highest free standing mountain in the world! The trek up Kilimanjaro takes you on a journey from tropical jungles to forest and open savanna and finally into Alpine/Arctic terrain. As you climb higher each day your surroundings constantly change until finally you reach the summit and the roof of Africa – Uhuru Peak 5985m.

JCG Expeditions has been working with Ahsante Tours for 4 years and have built up a fantastic relationship.
